- Classical Guitar
- Music History
- Music Theory (Beginner-Intermediate)
I teach guitar, specialising in classical/Spanish styles. I strive to provide a thorough musical basis in lessons and integrate a grounding in music theory, alongside supporting technical progress on the instrument. My goal, essentially, is to produce well-rounded, intelligent musicians!
As well as my studies on the guitar, I have also taken training with the British Kodály Academy and have found the methodology to have a huge benefit to my teaching. My students past and present have included children and adults of all ages and levels, and I am happy to teach anyone from the age of 5.
I enjoy exploring the diverse repertoire of the guitar, from Bach’s monumental suites, to the rhythmic vitality of South America and Spain, and everything else in between. It is my hope that students will enjoy exploring this rich array of music in their lessons!
