I believe that an encouraging environment is essential to the student's progress. Acknowledging the student's strengths empowers him/her to gain confidence, and suggesting solutions and ideas will motivate the student to further his or her abilities. I try to make my lessons enjoyable, so that the student may develop a positive relationship with music. This will hopefully enrich the student's life with the ability to express him/herself through music.

Teaching is a part of music that I thoroughly enjoy. I have taught throughout my education and remain a university teaching assistant to this day. I have maintained this in no small part in order to reach my potential as a teacher. I am always eager to further my musical abilities and to strive for excellence. Growing up, I spent youth studying piano and music theory at the Victoria Conservatory of Music. In the summers, I would spend my time attending piano festivals, which gave me the opportunity to study with distinguished pianists. For example, I spent four weeks at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg this summer, which gave me new ways to improve my piano technique. I am eager to pass all of this accumulated knowledge to my students. Being born in Luxembourg, in the heart of Europe, I am also proficient in German and have conversational abilities in French. With a Persian background, I also speak Farsi. I would be delighted to teach in English as well as those languages.
