I find music boundlessly fascinating. Whether I’m listening to classical music, minimal techno or pop music, I find that there is always some element of the music worthy of study or reflection. There is no such thing as boring music -- only an uninterested listener!
As a teacher, I want to relay my enthusiasm for music, in all its nuance and scope, to my students and to encourage an inquisitive, lively approach to sculpting sound. I hope to lead my students into new ways of thinking about the music-making process as every phrase, rhythm, and note can be an intricate decision.
Above all, I want my students to have fun! – music is a joyful endeavor, and it would be a pleasure for me to guide students through it.
I welcome students of all ages, beginning to intermediate.
