I believe that you can never stop learning, and that the only limitations that you have on your skill and knowledge of your craft are the ones you place on yourself. If you have a goal you can achieve it as long as you put in the effort, you get out of it what you put in to it. With my lessons, I make sure every student understands what they are being taught. Since I have been teaching I've realized that my students push me to become a better musician as just as much as I push them to become a better musician.
I took guitar lessons for around 4 years collectively from various teachers of different styles. My first teacher was my Dad, who used to be a guitar instructor in his younger days, he taught me the basics to guitar playing. My next teacher was an amazing Chicago Blues style player that helped my get better at my strumming, rhythm, and playing blues. My third teacher was a very versatile player that helped me get rid of any bad habits I developed with my playing, and taught me music theory that was very unknown to me at the time, how to be able to play any style of music, and more advanced techniques with my guitar playing that helped me become a more well rounded player.
