Music has always been a part of who I am and what I do. I believe that music is one of the most powerful tools that one can learn and also one of the most rewarding. It enables us to better communicate with one another and teaches us the abilities to be more focused, dedicated, and impassioned in what we do.
My goal, no matter what age or level of musicianship one is at, is to always make sure that my students are having fun in what they're doing. We're all here to enjoy making music, and while patience and hard work goes a long way, I never want my students to lose sight of that.
I have graduated from Humber College with an honours BMus on electric bass that focused heavily on performance in commercial music. Additionally, I received an honours certificate in Commercial Jazz Performance.
Through my time at Humber, I had the privilege of being trained by some of the best musicians in Toronto. Coming from a wide array of different musical backgrounds, my teachers were each able to give me different perspectives and helped create my approach to music as I play it today.
I have taken private lessons for guitar from the age of ten to seventeen. By the age of twelve, I also began learning electric bass and was taking private lessons until I was seventeen.

Ever since I was a young teenager, I have always had a passion for contemporary music and culture. I always try to push the boundaries of what I understand about music so that I can have as open a mind as possible. I believe this belief system has carried over into how I play and teach music. No matter a student's musical background, I believe all music is valid and worthy of recognition.
