Music is not just a hobby; it is an intrinsic part of my being, and I firmly believe that it should be an integral part of every person's education. The rhythm and sound are ingrained in our bodies, from the beating of our hearts to the sound of our breath, and formal music training is simply an expansion of what already exists within us.
As I begin my lessons with new students, I tailor my approach based on their existing knowledge of the piano and musical theory. My teaching style revolves around a balance of discipline and fun, creating an environment where the student feels connected and at ease, fostering the perfect atmosphere for learning.
I believe that joy and play are essential components of successful learning at any age, and I ensure that my students learn without undue stress and anxiety. I encourage them to play and enjoy the songs they choose, as well as incorporating songs that will help them overcome any weaknesses they may have. This approach is the key to achieving the best results and nurturing a lifelong love for music in my students.
I have attended the following schools earning the following degrees:
- The University of La Rioja (Spain) - Master of Music Education
- Conservatory of Music in Oviedo (Spain) - Bachelor of Music
My principal teachers included Johann Sebastian Bach for additional studies in counterpoint, Ludwig Van Beethoven for knowledge of classical and romanticism Sonatas and Claude Debussy for discovering the French impressionism.
