As my resume indicates, I have thirty one years of professional experience in music field practices. I believe that my extensive experience working as a musician: leader, sideman, teacher and producer, has taught me how to motivate and inspire students to achieve high standards in learning. In my role as a teacher, from public and private schools to Conservatory and studio lessons, I continue to demonstrate the ability to relate, communicate and encourage in a pedagogical environment. My comprehensive musical training includes degrees from McMaster and Brock Universities, and course work at Mohawk College. At McMaster, I majored in music education, where I gained knowledge of a wide range of pedagogical techniques, including Kodaly and Orf, choral, strings, brass, etc.
