Music is an art that is shared and enjoyed by you and those around you, no matter the age of the individual(s). It’s good for the soul, and an incomparable joy to learn and immerse yourself in. I believe that music teaches the individual self-discipline as well as self confidence. It will allow them to pursue a passion that can serve as a source of inspiration for living life fully which, in turn, will inspire others.
Ever since I was very young, music was a big part of my family, and I benefited a great deal when I started piano lessons at the age of 7. At the age of 10, I took up classical guitar. A few years later, as a young person who was eager to learn, I learned how to play trumpet in a marching band. At the end of 6 weeks, I was awarded the Excellence Award from the Director of the Kingston Military College himself.
From then on, I pursued the trumpet profusely under the guidance of respectable Canadian trumpet teachers Jocelyn Couture and Lex French.
I received my Bachelor’s in Jazz Performance at McGill University (Entrance Scholarship) in December of 2022 and am known in the Montreal music scene with the brass band that I lead. I will be applying for a Master’s at McGill University this coming winter.

In my career up until now, I have played in many concerts and festivals (notably, Montreal Jazz Fest 2 years in a row) and collaborated on studio recordings with a diverse number of notable musicians and groups in Quebec, Ontario and Nova Scotia. I have as well had the experience of being a music educator in daycares for children ages 18 months to 4 years old, and a private music teacher for kids in elementary and early high school. I hope to build my reputation in Montreal as a reliable and fun musician!
