I believe that each individual learns in a different way and there are no set rules or ways of teaching that fit everyone. Part of the teaching process is unlocking how the student learns and then I can that further.
Interest is the most important factor that pushes students to learn by themselves. Only if they find it fun, they will spend more time practicing and enjoying the music. I will always do my best to make the learning process fun and enjoyable.
I have a Bachelor of Music from McGill University, majoring in Classical saxophone performance where I studied with Marie-Chantal Leclair and Louis-Philippe Bonin. During which I attended large ensembles such as McGill Woodwind Orchestra and Contemporary Music Orchestra, and small ensembles including saxophone quartet, woodwind quintet, etc. It was quite an enjoyable journey and I hope i can share my experience with more people.
