Everyone is innately a musician, we bop our heads, stomp our feet, and dance to music long before we can walk or talk. My goal is to develop these natural talents with fun and engaging lessons. Adults and children alike will find a supportive environment free of stress and anxiety to grow their passion and explore their musicality.
I graduated with distinction from Grant MacEwan's Bachelor of Jazz and Contemporary Popular Music with a General Major and a Music Composition Diploma.
I have been playing piano for over 7 years and guitar for over 15 years, learning idiomatic styles for numerous music genres, from salsa and Latin music to jazz, pop, and progressive metal.
My musical education and practice have largely focused on musical composition, film and video game scoring, and writing for the orchestral ensemble. I have extensively studied orchestral repertoire, from Mozart to Ravel, Holst, Ligeti, Adams, and many more.

• Writing music is my foremost passion. I enjoy learning and writing in a variety of musical styles and genres, including Classical, Epic, Jazz/Big Band, Contemporary classical, EDM, Rock, Pop, and many others. • I have extensive knowledge of software-based solutions to music notation including Steinberg Dorico and MakeMusic’s Finale • Writing for orchestra and analyzing orchestral repertoire (from classical to modern film scoring) is one of the key studies I have set to develop in my musical practice. Learning from past masters to contemporary ones is a never-ending journey of discovery and awe. • Music production and technology help me complement my composition practice and allow me to see my works come to life. I have extensive knowledge of Digital Audio Workstations from FL studio to Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Cubase, Studio One, and others. • Creating a new palette of sounds is always a new and exciting way to spark creativity. Knowledge of additive, subtractive, wavetable, and granular synthesis is a great creativity booster that accompanies my music production. • Making music come to life inside a computer, especially orchestral works, has been one of my most priced endeavors and most fulfilling musical achievements. • Mixing and mastering are great tools to have at your disposal. Learning what to boost and cut, what to compress and not, is yet another creative journey that further elevates my writing.
