Teaching Philosophy

Art is the most precious valuable gift of God to this world where being a musician is the most blessed thing in one life. If an individual is born into this world with great musical talent, that's God's greatest plan. In this world, every individual is born with some inborn talent but most of them will not take care of it or they are not getting proper guidance and training to grow with that talent.

My job as a teacher is to show my students the way to reach the top but they are the ones to climb the mountain to reach the top. I can demonstrate and motivate them to rise up when they fall down. Like the mother bird who teaches her chicks how to fly. The chicks must jump from the nest and fly.

There are a lot of talented kids in this world who have the ability to reach greatness they require proper training, guidance and examples. It's necessary to find out how the child is most talented and give proper training from the proper teacher.

I can share with my students what I had learned from my entire life and I can show them proper guidance to their dreams. The main point is that it's been 7 years since I started to teach students. I love to teach because I used to learn more from my students than my students learn from me. The point is I'm always a humble musician with my own career dreams where I can share what I know. I usually don't act like a teacher because I'm sharing what I got moreover I'm learning more from the kids. My duty is to provide good music education to passionate students and to contribute to the coming generations.

Musical Education

Trinity college of music, London - Grade 8 in Guitar

Currently doing advanced diploma in Applied Music (contemporary guitar) from Mohawk college, Hamilton

Special Skills and Training

I started my music career at my age of 13 where my school didn't gave me a chance to perform with school band where everything started. At that time my family doesn't have much financial background to give me a music education so I started to learn Flute and Drums by my own where I used school instruments to practice. When my parents noted my playing however they send me to a music school with a lot of financial struggles where I really found my major music instrument Guitar. I just learned how to read notations but I spend more time in my personal practice what I loves the most. After my first year of guitar studies I moved to another music school to do grade examinations of Trinity college of music, London. At first year I directly done 5th grade after that 6th and at last year I finished 8th grade in practical. My greatest dream was to study in Berklee College of music where I attended my audition and I got selected to there from a lot of candidates but due to my family financial crisis I was not able to study over there, But I didn't stop chasing my other dreams to be a good songwriter and composer. From my first year of guitar studies itself I started to do Live gigs and recordings and right now I had worked over more than 5 music institutions as guitar tutor and more than 3 schools as music teacher. Along with all these I studied music production by own and started to do works in various ads and other companies. Right now I have worked over various Indian Film and television industries as well as I had worked as a session artist in various rock bands. I believe that these life and career experiences of mine will be helpful for my students to take a small step to their music career. I will use my all effort and share my all ideas and experiences to my students for their career growth.

Policies

1. Cancellation Policy

Lessons not cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice are billable to the client and payable to the teacher. This does not of course apply to travel fees unless the notice is effectively given at the door and the teacher has travelled to the location.

2. Cessation (quitting) Policy

A client must provide a 2 lesson notice period to stop lessons. So a weekly student needs to give 2 weeks of notice, a biweekly student works out to 3 weeks notice and a twice weekly student works out to a week of notice.

3. Illness Policy

Lessons cancelled due to illness or extraordinary circumstances with less than 24 hours notice remain billable to the client and payable to the teacher.

BAH teachers are encouraged to offer a make-up lesson at a future date in the interest of client relations and general goodwill. This only makes sense as teaching a student with the flu for example, will ruin the rest of your week's employment.

No more than 2 lessons may be made up due to illness within a 60 day period.

4. Rescheduling Policy

Any lesson can be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice.

Summer Vacation and Extended Absence Policy

Clients may schedule longer absences for trips etc. 24 hours notice is required.

It is normal and typical for students and about 20% of our teachers to schedule a break in the summer. We do not enforce a notice period (see cessation of lessons) at the end of a long summer break.

5. Evaluation Period

There are no free trial lessons with Beethoven at Home but we do offer a 2 lesson evaluation period where it is easy to try out a teacher. There are no free lessons during the evaluation period and clients may choose to discontinue the lessons at any time by providing the required 24 hours notice. After the student's 3rd lesson the required 2 lesson notice period will apply (see cessation of lessons above).
