She believes that we all have rhythm from the heartbeat to the flow of breath, and formal musical training is only an expansion of what already exists in every person. All her singing lessons begin with physical warm-ups to support the specific musculature required in singing. Joy and playing are essential elements of successful learning at any age, and she makes certain that students learn without any undue stress and anxiety. Adult students can expect the same support and respect as the youngest child. She believes without joy, there is no music, and without music, there is no joy.
Since childhood, Parand has been exposed to music considering her cousin was a professional classical pianist. She was bitten by the musical bug and started learning xylophone and flute at the age of 3, then violin at 7. Later, Parand moved on to learn the piano for several years. Gradually, Parand started classical singing lessons at the age of 18 and found her passion for singing. She is currently a music student at Concordia University.
First place in playing violin for Gilan's Province (in Iran) high schools competition (2020)
I learnt a lot from my teachers that I should be flexible and not be strict in just one genre of music and I started to learn other music and techniques as well. So I won't stick to any particular book for so long and would prefer to let the student choose the lessons and techniques that they like to improve. I usually get along with children pretty well and I love playing music with them.
