I have experience working with students of various ages - from 5 years old to 70 years old! I accomodate with each student’s musical taste when it comes to choosing repertoire and happy to assist with technical challenges in order for students to enjoy their music making more. My ultimate goal as a teacher is to nourish students’ love for music and help them develop life-long relationships with their instruments.
I have attended the following schools earning the following degrees:
University of Victoria - Master of Music
University of Victoria - Bachelor of Music with Distinction
Camosun College - Diploma in Music
My principal teachers included Joanna Hood of Lafayette String Quartet and Michael van der Sloot

I have more than 20 years of training in playing violin, viola, and piano. I am classically trained; however, many of my previous students enjoyed learning various musical genres such as pop, folk, rock, and anime songs.
