Music has always been an integral part of my life, and I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to study music. As I have been fortunate enough to study with incredible teachers, I want to pass on my knowledge to others. I make certain that all lessons will be conducted in a positive, encouraging environment, and that all students will have my undivided attention and respect for the duration of all lessons.
I am a current student at the University of Toronto where I will be graduating in 2024 with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance. I began playing the trumpet at the age of 12, where I was initially classically trained and then began playing jazz a few years later. I have studied under numerous internationally acclaimed musicians, in addition to my experience in the Denis Wick Canadian Wind Orchestra, the National Youth Band of Canada, the BC Music Educators Association Honour Jazz Band, the Sean Jones Cornerstone Jazz Orchestra, and as prinicpal trumpet in the Okanagan Youth Symphony Orchestra. In addition, I have completed levels 3, 5, and 6 of the Royal Conservatory classical trumpet exams, and have recieved the Royal Conservatory of Music Gold Medal of Excellence.

I grew up studying with a number of outstanding trumpet players. These teachers are the reason that I am the musician that I am today. Some of these teachers include Fred Gass and Marshall Rasmussen of Kelowna, Audrey Patterson of Vancouver, and Tara Kannangara, Jim Lewis, and Jason Logue of Toronto. In addition, I have had the honour of performing at the Kensington Market Jazz Festival in Toronto, ON, been a guest artist at the Pentastic Hot Jazz Festival in Penticton, BC, and as a guest soloist with the Okanagan Irish Society.
