My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a beautiful sound along with developing solid embouchure and technique. Having a beautiful tone is a crucial element of playing French horn. I empower students to embrace the instrument's challenges through practice and creativity.
I have a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Education in Intermediate-Senior music. I have played the French horn since I was twelve and have performed in various ensembles. Some notable ones were the University of Western Ontario's Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra and a few appearances with the Rose Orchestra in Brampton. However, recently, I have been working abroad in Shanghai, China, teaching history and English at various international schools.
I have a wide range of experience in teaching students both in Canada and all over the world. Along with this, I spent a large part of my life performing during high school and university.
