I belive all students may learn and succeed in performing on a musical instrument. Creating the perfect fit between the student's interest, level and the studyed repertoiry is the first step in establishing a successful learning experience. Over my years of teaching music, I have developped various technics that suit students of all ages and levels. I make sure my students practice rythms, melodies, and finger technics in efficient and different manners.
I am a professional classical guitarist and have been studying music for more than 10 years. Indeed, I have completed a certificate in jazz music at UQÀM university, then I have obtained a college diploma in music at St-Laurent Cegep. More recently, I have finished my bachelor's degree at Montreal's university. This summer, I have obtained my master's degree at the Laval University of Quebec city. I have won the best performance competition during my final master's degree presentation.
I have participate to international guitar competition on 2016. During my final master's presentation, I won the best performance award.
I have developed programs skills to make sound samplings such as Reaper. This samplings can help students with their daily practices. Reaper works to record songs and edit videos in high quality. I know how to improvise in any kind of rhythms like Jazz, Blues, Latin music, South American rhythms and more. I can teach how to sing, how to compose, how to make arrangements and more.
