Guitar is all about expression, exploration, and having fun. I believe every student learns in their own unique way, so I focus on blending creativity with technique to make each lesson feel exciting and personal. Whether you're strumming your first chord or shredding solos, we'll break down concepts step by step, using music you love. My goal is to make learning guitar feel like an adventure, where every practice session is a chance to discover something new and push your limits.
I have a master's degree in guitar performance from the University of West London in the UK focusing on the techniques and vocabulary of country music. My bachelor's degree is from Grant MacEwan University in guitar performance with a strong focus on jazz and popular music.

I am fortunate to have been, and continue to be, a session guitar player for some of Alberta's top country artists and have toured with multiple bands and artists across different genres. I have been the musical director on a number of projects, including an artist I toured with for nearly two years. I have worked some studio sessions and been able to front a number of my own projects. I have teaching experience both privately and in a music store setting, but consider myself a student for life. The guitar sparked my love for music, but it is the music that keeps me playing today.
