It can not be described how much I love playing trumpet. It is a joyful experience and I wish to share that with my students. I exclusively study and research the old pedagogy of the great cornetists of the past such as Herbert L. Clarke and Jean-Baptiste. I was taught by Robin Doyon the Paris French Conservatory Method of playing trumpet as well as by Bradley Luna the American Orchestral Tradition of playing. I continue to grow and learn as I continue studying with Jim Pandolfi in Boston, MA.
I attended the University of Alberta and earned a Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance. I have played and studied trumpet for 13 years. I currently study with Jim Pandolfi the retired trumpet player of the New York Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. In the past I have studied with Robin Doyon the principal trumpet of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and Bradley Luna who has performed with the Edmonton, Dallas and Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestras.
I am also an instrument repair technician at the Bandstand Ltd. and have experience and knowledge in maintaining an excellent functioning horn. I have served the Canadian Armed Forces and have performed with the Ceremonial Guard of Ottawa.
