Music is fundamental to my being, and I believe that it is integral to the education of any person. We all have rhythm and sound as a core part of our body, from the heartbeat to the sound of breath, and formal training in music is only an expansion of what already exists in every person. The body of a musician requires as much detailed physical analysis and focus as that of an elite athlete.
Joy and play are essential elements of successful learning at any age, and I make certain that students learn without a lot of undue stress and anxiety. Adult students can expect the same support and respect as the youngest child. Without joy, there is no music, and without music, there is no joy.
- I started my violin journey from the age of six.
- I have a BA in Music Performance from University of Applied Science, Art and Culture, Isfahan, Iran.
- I currently study Master’s degree in Music Performance(violin) in University of Saskatchewan.
I have been teaching violin for 12 years, and I have also worked extensively as a violin player in various orchestras and music bands. Growing up, I watched my dad teach piano at home. He's been a musician for over 40 years and a great teacher. Most of my learning primarily happened right there, making teaching and music feel like second nature to me. I try to manage my teaching style effectively, tailoring it to suit the unique needs of students across different age groups. I try to assess each student individually, identify their strengths and areas for improvement, and create a customized plan to help them progress at their own pace.
